The way we travel has changed, with so many travel blogs available. We now have information and tools that were not previously available. Others have gone to destinations before us and have written about their experiences in order for you to have a better one. This is not like Trip Advisor, which is still a great tool, but it provides basic reviews from tourist to tourist. Travel bloggers usually stay in destinations for longer and get to interact with locals. They tend to break down their experiences in articles that are easy to understand, including lists of things to do, where to eat, how to travel and such.
Some travel bloggers do it as a hobby, while others have made it their full time job. Even if they do get content sponsored, they still need to keep it real in order to maintain credibility. Working with brands allows them to make a living and pay for part of their trip expenses.
